Product Description
The Pulveriser, with its integrated Air and Gravity Separator, is a grinding machine that uses a high swing type grinding mechanism. It features a grinding chamber where a hammer pulverizes materials, and an integrated blower then draws out the finely ground powder through a whizzer cone. The whizzer cone acts as a sieve, allowing only particles of a desired fineness to pass through, while larger particles remain for further grinding.
How It Works ⚙️
The pulverization process begins in the grinding chamber where a high swing type grinding mechanism uses the force of a hammer to break down materials. Once the material is ground to a fine powder, the integrated blower pulls the powder through a whizzer cone, which ensures that only particles of a specific size proceed.
After passing through the whizzer cone, the blower propels the powder into a cyclone air separator. In the separator, the powder is discharged, and the air is recycled back into the grinding chamber, creating a continuous and sustainable air cycle. Any excess air is filtered through dust collector bags to capture residual fines and ensure clean operation. An optional feature can also separate heavy particles for a cleaner, finer output.
Construction and Versatility 🛠️
The Pulveriser is built from superior raw materials for durability and efficiency. Key components like the grinding chamber, whizzer cone, and blower are made from heavy-duty cast iron. Contact surfaces are lined with durable steel or cast iron plates. The grinding chamber is also fortified with replaceable hard iron plates or manganese steel liners to resist wear and tear.
A special pocket inside the grinding chamber can be included as an optional safety feature to catch small metallic objects, protecting the machine from potential damage. The main shaft is supported by double-row, self-aligning, heavy-duty ball or roller bearings, ensuring reliable performance.
This machine can process a wide range of materials, including:
-
Minerals: Soapstone, Bauxite, Limestone, Dolomite, Bentonite, Calcite, Coal, China Clay, Red Oxide, and Ochres.
-
Food Items: Turmeric, Besan, Kattha, Starch, Salt, Soya Bean, Tamarind Seed, and Gram Dal.
-
Herbs: Sandalwood, Soap Nut, and Amla.
-
Other Materials: Mica Chips, Guar Gum, Gypsum, Alum, Manganese Ore, and Saw-Dust.
The power requirement for the Pulveriser varies from 5 HP to 200 HP, depending on the model, making it adaptable to a variety of industrial needs.
